AXC-715 is a dual agonist of toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) and TLR8. It activates NF-kappaB in a secreted alkaline phosphatase (SEAP) assay using TLR7- or TLR8-expressing HEK293 cells (EC50s = 0.634 and 1.3 µM, respectively). AXC-715 has been linked to the anti-HER2 antibody trastuzumab as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). AXC-715 linked to trastuzumab reduces tumor volume in an HCC1954 breast cancer mouse xenograft model.
