Mouse Negative Control, Ascites

Mouse ascites obtained from mice bearing different hybridomas, delipidated, heat-inactivated, pooled and depleted of all immunoglobulins. Applications: Suitable for use as a negative control for ELISA, Indirect Immunofluorescence and Western Blot, replacing the specific ascites in the test arrangement. Other applications have not been tested. , Recommended Dilutions: The control ascites is used in a dilution comparable to that of the specific ascites., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
