Anti-phospho-Rabphilin 3A (Ser234)

Anti-Rabphilin 3A pS234 antibody is directed against rat rabphilin 3A protein phosphorylated at serine 234. Rabphilin 3A pS234 antibodies are affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. The immunolabeling of the rabphilin band was completely blocked by the phosphopeptide used as antigen while the dephosphopeptide had no effect on the immunolabeling. Cross reactivity with Rab 3A from other species has not been determined, however, the sequence of the immunogen shows 100% identity to mouse, human, bovine, canine, and non-human primates, therefore, cross reactivity is expected. Protein function: Protein transport. Probably involved with Ras-related protein Rab-3A in synaptic vesicle traffic and/or synaptic vesicle fusion.
