Anti-Vascular Endothelial Cadherin (VE-Cadherin, CD144, Cadherin-5, 7B4 Antigen, CDH5)

VE-Cadherin, also known as Cadherin-5, is a type I membrane protein belonging to the cadherin superfamily of Ca2+-dependent adhesion molecules that mediates adhesion via homotypic interactions. It is associated with intercellular junctions and plays a role in endothelial cell survival during remodeling and maturation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing Allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
