Anti-Tryptase, epsilon (Brain-specific serine protease 4, BSSP-4, Brain serine protease 2, BSP-2)

Tryptase E, also known as brain-specific serine protease 4 (BSSP-4) and brain serine protease 2 (BSP-2), is a serine protease that is encoded by the PRSS22 gene. Initially identified as a brain-specific enzyme, Tryptase E is also expressed in epithelium-rich tissues such as lung and eye. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Tryptase E (aa33-306). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C for short-term only. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
