Anti-TRPM7, clone S74-25

Anti-TRPM7 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with TRPM7 from Human, Rat, and Mouse based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. No cross-reactivity against TrpM6. Cross-reactivity with TRPM7 from other sources has not been determined. Channels and Transporters research. Protein function: Essential ion channel and serine/threonine-protein kinase. Divalent cation channel permeable to calcium and magnesium. Has a central role in magnesium ion homeostasis and in the regulation of anoxic neuronal cell death. The kinase activity is essential for the channel function. May be involved in a fundamental process that adjusts plasma membrane divalent cation fluxes according to the metabolic state of the cell.
