Anti-TrpC5, clone S67-15

Anti-TrpC5 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with TrpC5 from human, mouse, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with TrpC5 from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research. Protein function: Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. Has also been shown to be calcium-selective.
