Anti-SNAP25

Anti-SNAP25 antibody is directed against rat SNAP25. SNAP25 antibody is affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Cross reactivity with SNAP25 from other species is expected from the following species based on 100% sequence homology: mouse, human, zebra fish, bovine, canine, chicken, guinea pig and non-human primate. Protein function: t-SNARE involved in the molecular regulation of neurotransmitter release. May play an important role in the synaptic function of specific neuronal systems. Associates with proteins involved in vesicle docking and membrane fusion. Regulates plasma membrane recycling through its interaction with CENPF. [The UniProt Consortium]
