Anti-RSPO-4 (R-Spondin 4, Cristin-4)

R-Spondin 4 (RSPO-4) also cristin-4, is a heparin-binding, approximately 33kD, secreted member of the R-Spondin family. It is found in limb bud mesenchyme and developing heart. RSPO-4 reportedly binds the Wnt receptors Fzd8 and LRP6, either as a complex or as individual receptors. Mature mouse RSPO-4 is 209 amino acids (aa) in length. It contains a furin-like region (aa85-128), a TSP type-1 domain (aa138-197) and a basic aa rich region (aa199-221). There is one potential isoform where Arg substitutes for the C-terminal 82 amino acids. Over aa21-197, mouse RSPO-4 shares 98% and 85% aa sequence identity with rat and human RSPO-4, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit for rmRSPO-4 is ~20ng/well., Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. The detection limit for rmRSPO-4 is ~25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
