Anti-Rap1 (Krev1)

Rap1, which is a member of the Ras family of GTP-binding proteins, cycles between an active GTP-bound and an unactive GDP-bound form that is mediated by GTPase activating protein (GAP). Rap1 is proposed to regulate Ras-mediated signaling and may also be involved in the regulation of Integrin-mediated cell adhesion although the mechanism of regulation is not known., , Applications: , Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot (ECL): 1ug/ml detects Rap1 in 20ug of rat brain tissue extract. , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Controls: Rat and Mouse Brain Tissue Extract , Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
