Anti-Rab25

Ras-related protein Rab25, is a 23kD (unglycosylated) member of the small GTPase superfamily and Rab family of proteins. Human Rab25 is 213aa in length. The mature chain runs from aa1-210 with residues 211-213 constituting a propeptide. Residues 10-174 are noted to be Rab11-like. Rab11a, Rab11b, and Rab25 are closely related Rab proteins that are differentially expressed. Human Rab25 shares 96aa sequence identity with mouse Rab25. Functionally, Rab25 is involved in the regulation of cell survival. Researchers have shown that Rab25 promotes invasive migration of cells and increases the rates and aggressiveness of breast and ovarian cancers. It is expressed in breast and ovarian tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
