Anti-POGLUT1 (Protein O-glucosyltransferase 1, CAP10-like 46kD Protein, hCLP46, KTEL Motif-containin

POGLUT1 is a homologue of Rumi from Drosophila, an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) retaining glucosyltransferase, that adds glucose to serine residues within the consensus sequence of C1 XSXPC2 in Notch EGF repeats, thereby regulating cellfate decisions. It is also known as CAP10-like protein and KTELC1 due to the highly conserved CAP10 domain and the presence of an ER-retaining motif, KTEL, at the C-terminus. The human gene is reported to be involved in the pathogenesis of both acute myelogenous and T acute lymphoblastic leukemias. POGLUT1 has hydrolase activity on UDPGlc in a phosphatasecoupled glycosyltransferase assay. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 8-25ug/ml using immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human liver, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
