Anti-PLTP (Plasma Phospholipid Transfer Protein) (Azide Free)

The protein encoded by this gene is one of at least two lipid transfer proteins found in human plasma. The encoded protein transfers phospholipids from triglyceride-rich lipoproteins to high density lipoprotein (HDL). In addition to regulating the size of HDL particles, this protein may be involved in cholesterol metabolism. At least two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq], Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000, Immunohistochemistry (formalin-fixed paraffin): 5ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
