This affinity purified antibody is directed against human PI 3 Kinase p55 gamma. This product was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with the antigen based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence to mouse and rat, 94.1% homology to bovine. Protein function: Binds to activated (phosphorylated) protein-tyrosine kinases through its SH2 domain and regulates their kinase activity. During insulin stimulation, it also binds to IRS-1.
