Anti-PDCD5, NT (PDCD5, TFAR19, Programmed cell death protein 5, TF-1 cell apoptosis-related protein

PDCD5 is a protein expressed in tumor cells during apoptosis independent of the apoptosis-inducing stimuli. Prior to apoptosis induction, this protein is distributed in both the nucleus and cytoplasm. Once apoptosis is induced, the level of this protein increases and by relocation from the cytoplasm, it accumulates in the nucleus. Although its exact function is not defined, this protein is thought to play an early and universal role in apoptosis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
