Binds to poly(A) and to poly(G) with high affinity (PubMed:10481015). May protect the poly(A) tail from degradation. Plays a role in the positive regulation of alpha-1,3 fucosylation, possibly by cooperating with swm which regulates nuclear export of fucosyltransferase FucTA (PubMed:21203496).
