Anti-p73, clone 5B429

Anti-p73 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Anti-p73 from Human and Mouse based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. It does not cross react with p53. Cross-reactivity with Anti-p73 from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Participates in the apoptotic response to DNA damage. Isoforms containing the transactivation domain are pro-apoptotic, isoforms lacking the domain are anti-apoptotic and block the function of p53 and transactivating p73 isoforms.
