Anti-OTX2

This gene encodes a member of the bicoid sub-family of homeodomain-containing transcription factors. The encoded protein acts as a transcription factor and may play a role in brain and sensory organ development. A similar protein in mice is required for proper forebrain development.Tissue specificity: Expressed in brain. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommened Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000, ELISA: 1:10,000, Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000, Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:1000, Flow Cytometry: 1:200-1:400, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
