Anti-Netrin 4 (PRO3091, NTN4, Netrin-4, FLJ23180, Beta-netrin)

Netrin-4 is a 628 amino acid laminin-related secreted protein that promotes neurite elongation at low concentrations but inhibits neurite extension at high concentrations. Recent evidence suggest that Netrin family members act as regulators of both neuronal and vascular growth and are implicated in controling epithelial cell branching morphogenesis in the pancreas, breast and lung. Netrin-4 inhibits proliferation of a variety of human tumor cells. Netrin-4 also induces proliferation, migration, adhesion, tube formation and survival of human lymphatic endothelial cells and seems to function as a lymphangiogenic factor contributing to tumor dissemination. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
