Anti-Microtubule Associated Protein 2 (MAP2)

Anti-MAP2 antibody is directed agaist MAP2 protein. The antibody is a total IgY fraction. The antibody has been directly tested for reactivity in bovine, human, mouse and rat tissues. It is expected that the antibody will react with other mammalian tissues. Cross reactivity with MAP2 from other species has not been determined. Protein function: The exact function of MAP2 is unknown but MAPs may stabilize the microtubules against depolymerization. They also seem to have a stiffening effect on microtubules.
