Anti-Methionine Aminopeptidase 1 (MetAP-1)

Methionine Aminopeptidase 1 (MetAP-1) encodes a cytoplasmic protease that removes the NH 2-terminal Met from nascent proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Direct ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml using a colorimetric detection system. The detection limit is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions., Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml. The detection limit for recombinant human METAP1 is ~3ng/well., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
