Anti-MCM3 (DNA polymerase alpha holoenzyme-associated protein P1, P1-MCM3, RLF subunit beta, p102)

MCM3 (MINICHROMOSOME MAINTENANCE, S. CEREVISIAE, HOMOLOG OF, 3), also called RLFB or P1 PROTEIN, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MCM3 gene. MCM3 is one of the highly conserved mini-chromosome maintenance proteins (MCM) that are involved in the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. The MCM3 gene is mapped to 6p12.2. This protein is a subunit of the protein complex that consists of MCM2-7. It has been shown to interact directly with MCM5/CDC46. This protein also interacts with, and thus is acetlyated by MCM3AP, a chromatin-associated acetyltransferase. The acetylation of this protein inhibits the initiation of DNA replication and cell cycle progression. Gene ID: MCM3, Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml. Antigen retrieval by boiling paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 20 minutes is required for the staining of paraffin sections., Immunocytochemistry: 0.5-1ug/ml., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
