LAMP1 (Lysosome-associated membrane protein-1, also known as CD107a) is a 100-130kD member of the LAMP family of glycoproteins. It is expressed in lysosomal and plasma membranes of macrophages, NK and T cells, and is essential for the formation of phagolysosomes, along with LAMP2. On the cell surface, LAMP1 also presents carbohydrates to selectins. Mature human LAMP1 is a 389 aa type I transmembrane glycoprotein. It contains a 354aa luminal/extracellular domain (ECD) (aa28-381) and a 12aa cytoplasmic tail (aa405- 416). The ECD has two large looping regions (aa28-193 and 227-381) plus multiple N- and O-linked glycosylation sites. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Maybe stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 6 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
