Anti-Lsm1 (Sm-like Protein 1)

Sm-like proteins were identified in a variety of organisms based on sequence homology with the Sm protein family (see SNRPD2, MIM 601061). Sm-like proteins contain the Sm sequence motif, which consists of 2 regions separated by a linker of variable length that folds as a loop. The Sm-like proteins are thought to form a stable heteromer present in tri-snRNP particles, which are important for pre-mRNA splicing. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500, Immunohistochemistry: 1:200, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1906 IgY, Chicken Pab Rb x Ch , I1906-10 IgY, Chicken-HRP Rb x Ch , I1906-12 IgY, Chicken-FITC Rb x Ch , I1906-14 IgY, Chicken-AP Rb x Ch, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
