Anti-Lamin B1

Anti-Lamin B1 antibody is directed against human Lamin B1 protein.  The product was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification.  A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human and rat based on homology for the immunogen sequence.  Cross reactivity with Lamin B1 from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Lamins are components of the nuclear lamina, a fibrous layer on the nucleoplasmic side of the inner nuclear membrane, which is thought to provide a framework for the nuclear envelope and may also interact with chromatin.
