Anti-Kv1.2 K channel Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Kv1.2 K channel from Human, Mouse, Zebrafish, Xenopus, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Kv1.2 K channel from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research. Protein function: Mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a potassium-selective channel through which potassium ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient.
