Anti-ITGA8, CT (ITGA8, Integrin alpha-8, Integrin alpha-8 heavy chain, Integrin alpha-8 light chain)

Integrin alpha-8/beta-1 functions in the genesis of kidney and probably of other organs by regulating the recruitment of mesenchymal cells into epithelial structures. It recognizes the sequence R-G-D in a wide array of ligands including TNC, FN1, SPP1 TGFB1, TGFB3 and VTN. NPNT is probably its functional ligand in kidney genesis. Neuronal receptor for TNC it mediates cell-cell interactions and regulates neurite outgrowth of sensory and motor neurons. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:2000, Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
