Anti-IDO

Anti-IDO was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with human, rat, and mouse based on 100% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with IDO from other sources has not been determined. Indoleamine 2, 3-dioxygenase (IDO) antibody initiates the first and rate limiting step of the kynurenine pathway. IDO has been shown to be important in inflammatory response and in the brain can be activated by interferon activated T cells. Anti-IDO antibody is ideal for investigators interested in Metabolism, Signal Transduction, and Cardiovascular research.
