Anti-Cystatin C

Cystatin C is an inhibitor of cysteine proteases including Cathepsins B, H, K, L and S, and is ubiquitous in human tissues and body fluids. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Cystatin C (aa27-146). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C for short-term only. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
