Anti-CTRP2 (human)

Recognizes a N-terminal region of CTRP2 full-length protein. Detects bands of 17kDa and 35kDa by Western blot. This antibody is CTRP2-specific. Liquid. 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives. CTRP2 (C1qTNF-related protein 2) belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. CTRP2 mediates activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in muscle and liver cells, thereby regulating glucose and lipid metabolism.
