Anti-CTRP1 (human)

Recognizes a N-terminal region of CTRP1 full-length protein. Detects bands of 17kDa and 36kDa by Western blot. This antibody is CTRP1-specific. Liquid. 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives. CTRP1 (Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 1, C1QTNF1) belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. Serum levels of CTRP1 are significantly higher in obese/diabetic animal models and in hypertensive patients compared to normal controls. CTRP1 may be a new molecular link between obesity and hypertension.
