Anti-CD81 (TAPA-1, Target of anti-Proliferative Antibody-1), clone 3H1704

CD 81, a 26kD cell surface antigen also known as TAPA-1 and a member of the tetraspanin family. CD81 is widely expressed on human leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular processes, including adhesion, activation, proliferation and differentiation. The antibody is a potent CD81 reagent, induces homotypic adhesion and has powerful anti proliferative effects. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoflourescence, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin, Flow Cytometry: 1:5-1:10. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul., Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
