CD74 is expressed on MHC class II positive cells including B cells, a subset of activated T cells, monocytes, dendritic cells and by various types of carcinoma. Expression of CD74 is primarily intracellular with moderate expression at the cell surface of B cells and monocytes. The Bu45 antibody binds to an epitope within the extracytoplasmic domain of the CD74 molecule, which is distal from the C-terminus. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:5, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. , Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
