Anti-CD30 Antibody (Brentuximab)

This anti-CD30 (cluster of differentiation 30) antibody is a purified, recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that recognizes human CD30, also known as TNFRSF8 (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 8). This antibody is similar to Brentuximab. Brentuximab is being studied for the treatment of Hodgkin lymphoma, sALCL (systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma) and primary cutaneous ALCL. This antibody has also been used in the context of ADCs (antibody drug conjugates). Brentuximab vedotin is sold commercially as Adcetris for blood-related cancers. CD30, also known as TNFRSF8 (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 8), is a crucial surface receptor from the TNF receptor family, expressed on activated immune cells and notably upregulated in specific lymphomas like Hodgkin Lymphoma (HL) and Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL).
