Anti-CD28 (MGC138290, T cell Antigen CD28, T cell Specific Surface Glycoprotein CD28, Tp44)

CD28 is a 44kD glycoprotein also known as Tp44 or T44. It is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is expressed on thymocytes, a/bTCR+ T cells, most g/dTCR+ T cells, and an NK cell subset. During interaction with CD80 (B7-1) or CD86 (B7-2), CD28 acts as the second signal for T cell stimulation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: <0.25ug/10e6 cells in 100ul volume, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
