CD151 is expressed by endothelial cells, platelets, megakaryocytes and monocytes but not by lymphocytes or granulocytes. CD151 is closely associated with the alpha3 beta1 integrin in cells and co-immunoprecipitation may occur even in quite stringent conditions. (Yauch, R.L. et al. 1998), Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat. 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R3 IgG1 Murine Negative Control (FITC), Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. , Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
