Anti-CD147 (Extracellular Matrix Metalloproteinase Inducer, Basigin, Neurothelin), clone 3H1878

The human CD147 cell surface antigen is a 50-60kD glycoprotein also known as neurothelin and basigin. CD147 is broadly expressed on peripheral blood cells and by endothelial cells. Expression upon T cells is increased following activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100. Use 10ul diluted antibody to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood., Western Blot: Non-reducing conditions., Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R: IgG1 Murine Negative Control, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
