CD14 occurs both as a secreted protein and as a GPI-linked membrane protein. It plays a critical role in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-dependent signal transduction. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1-2.5 x 10e5 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells from a mouse immunized with purified, CHO-derived, recombinant human CD14. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. CFS conjugates are sensitive to light.
