Anti-Cat IL-2

This product was protein A purified from monospecific antiserum by chromatography. This antibody is specific for cat IL-2 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with IL-2 from cat, dog, wild boar, horse, rhesus monkey, baboon, and human sources based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with IL-2 from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation, this protein is required for T-cell proliferation and other activities crucial to regulation of the immune response.
