Anti-ATG8

Anti-ATG8 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Anti-ATG8 from Opossum and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Anti-ATG8 from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Ubiquitin-like modifier involved in formation of autophagosomal vacuoles (autophagosomes). Whereas LC3s are involved in elongation of the phagophore membrane, the GABARAP/GATE-16 subfamily is essential for a later stage in autophagosome maturation. [The UniProt Consortium]
