ASAP3, also known as Development and differentiation-enhancing factor-like 1, is a protein with two ANK repeats, an Arf-GAP domain and a PH domain. ASAP3, an Arf GTPase-activating protein, is implicated in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma, and may regulate cell migration associated with the invasion of normal tissue by cancer cells, thus playing an important role in the regulation of GTPase activity. It is known to promote cell proliferation. ASAP3 also has functions nonredundant with ASAP1 to control cell movement and may have a role in cancer cell invasion. ASAP3 is highly expressed in primary hepatocarcinoma and is also detected in lung, liver and blood leukocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
