Anti-Apolipoprotein A-I (Apo A-I), clone 6F31

Apolipoprotein A-1 (apo A-1) in human plasma is a major protein component of high density lipoprotein (HDL). The molecular mass is 24kD. Apo A-1 is a cofactor for enzymes involved in the normal turnover of cholesterol and is produced in the liver. Plasma concentration is 2.7-3.8mg/ml (1). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:500, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653. Female CF1 x Balb/c mice immunized i.p. with immunogen adsorbed onto Al(OH)3. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
