Anti-alpha-Actinin-4, pAb (IG-701)

Contains Positive Control: Human platelet protein (Prod. No. AG-35T-0001), 500 ?g supplied at 5 mg/ml in SDS sample buffer. Use 5 ?l (25 ?g) per lane for Western blotting. Recognizes human, mouse, rat, pig and Chinese hamster actinin-4. Does not cross-react with actinin-1, -2 or -3. Actinin-4 F-actin cross-linking protein which is thought to anchor actin to a variety of intracellular structures. This is a bundling protein. Probably involved in vesicular trafficking via its association with the CART complex. The CART complex is necessary for efficient transferrin receptor recycling but not for EGFR degradation.
