Anti-Activin C

Activins belong to the TGF-beta superfamily. They are homo- or heterodimers of activin beta subunits. At least four mammalian beta subunits, A, B, C, and E, have been described. The beta c subunit homodimerizes to form Activin CC. A naturally occuring Activin AC heterodimer has also been reported. Applications: Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit is ~10ng/well., Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. The detection limit is ~25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse , , Storage and Stability:, Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
