EverBrite(TM) Hardset Mounting Medium

Biotium's EverBrite(TM) mounting medium is a revolutionary antifade mounting medium optimally formulated for preserving fluorescence of our CF(R) dyes and other fluorochromes. Unlike VectaShield(R), EverBrite(TM) is compatible with cyanine-based fluorophores like Cy(R) dyes. EverBrite(TM) Hardset mounting medium hardens at room temperature completely in 24 hours. This facilitates handling of the slide and eliminates the need to secure the coverslips. EverBrite(TM) mounting medium provides a high level of protection from photobleaching over a wide range of fluorescence wavelengths. Mounted slides can be stored at 4°C for a year or longer. EverBrite(TM) Hardset Mounting Medium has a refractive index of 1.38 initially, which increases to 1.42 after 24 hours of curing, and 1.46 after four days of curing, after which it remains constant. EverBrite(TM) Hardset Mounting Medium is available with or without DAPI for nuclear counterstaining.    We also offer EverBrite(TM) Mounting Media in wet-set formulation, with or without DAPI.
