Human Sphingosine kinase 1 or SphK1 (GenBank Accession No. AF200328), full length with N-terminal His-tag, MW=46.9 kDa, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Specific Activity: 20 U/ug. Sphingosine kinase activity was determined using D- erythro-sphingosine and [ -32P]ATP as substrates at pH 7.4 and 30 °C.
