Fenoprofen (calcium salt hydrate)

Fenoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It inhibits spontaneous and estradiol-stimulated prostaglandin F2alpha (PGF2alpha, Cay-16010) release by 84% in isolated rat uterine horns when used at a concentration of 33 µM. Fenoprofen (10 mg/kg, i.p.) reduces serum PGF2alpha levels in rats.
