Tranexamic acid 13C2,15N is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of tranexamic acid (Cay-19193) by GC- or LC-MS. Tranexamic acid is an inhibitor of fibrinolysis that inhibits the interaction of plasmin with fibrin (IC50 = 3.1 µM in isolated human plasma).
