Tafenoquine

Tafenoquine is an aminoquinoline antimalarial agent. It is active against multidrug-resistant clinical isolates of P. falciparum (IC50s = 64.6-110.4 ng/ml). Tafenoquine (25 or 50 mg/kg) inhibits sporozoite transmission to mosquitos fed on P. berghei-infected mice.
