Streptimidone

Streptimidone is a bacterial metabolite that has been found in Streptomyces and has diverse biological activities. It inhibits protein synthesis in a cell-free assay when used at a concentration of 50 µg/ml. It reduces tumor growth in H.S. No. 1 human sarcoma and H.Ep.
